The 2013 -2015 Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee met March 10-11, 2015, at USDA Headquarters in Washington D. C. This was the second meeting of the 2013-2015 Committee. The Committee approved nine recommendations that were sent to the Secretary for his review and consideration. These recommendations were initially researched and developed by five sub-working groups that make up the Committee: Food Safety Working Group, Education and Branding Working Group, Research and Grant Funding Working Group, Agricultural Labor Working Group, and the Ports of Entry Inspection Delays Working Group. Minutes from this meeting will be posted upon approval of the Committee.
